DJ Potato (François Frijns) is a Dutch freestyle and hardcore DJ and producer from Limburg. Known for mixing freestyle, tek, early rave, old-school, and jump, he started spinning at age 14 and anchors major harder-styles events like Defqon.1, Harmony of Hardcore and Decibel Outdoor. Early beginnings: bought his first turntables at age 14 after doing paper routes and gained traction performing at regional clubs and German venues like Raving Nightmare. Got the nickname "Potato" nearly 20 years ago because of his bald gabber head. Major festivals: performed at prominent gatherings including Defqon.1, Intents Festival and Pussy Lounge. He also serves as an ambassador and creative force behind the Smashed Potatoes event concept.
